Passing Out of Direct Entry Engineering Mechanic Course Held at INS Shivaji, Lonavala

Direct Entry Engineering Mechanic Course comprising 367 trainees, which include 340 trainees from the Indian Navy, 23 trainees from Indian Coast Guard and four international trainees from three friendly foreign navies graduated from INS Shivaji on 07 September 2019. The trainees successfully completed 25 weeks of professional ab-initio training, which included participation in various sporting and extra-curricular activities. Aman Kumar (DEME) stood 'First in Overall Order of Merit' and was awarded the FOC-in-C (South) Rolling Trophy and a book prize. Himanshu Yadav (DEME) was adjudged 'Best Sportsman of the Course' and was awarded the Commodore's Rolling Trophy. Mohamed Hammad from Maldives was adjudged 'First in Order of Merit' amongst the international trainees. The POP was reviewed by Commanding Officer INS Shivaji.
