INBA (Indian Naval Benevolent Association)
Organization:-
Indian Naval Benevolent Association (INBA) is a charitable organisation registered under the societies registration act XXI of 1860. Affairs of the association are administered by a council headed by the Chief of the Naval Staff as president and selected naval officers as its members. Income of the association is derived from compulsory subscriptions made by serving personnel, voluntary donations and interest accrued on the deposits of these funds.
Objective:-
The primary objective of the association is to render financial assistance to relieve financial hardship and distress of serving as well as released/retired naval personnel and their families.
INBA provides various grants to both serving and retired naval personnel and their families. It also provides various loans to serving naval personnel.
