Governor Felicitates NCC Republic Day Contingent of Maharashtra

Keeping up it's illustrious traditions, the Maharashtra Contingent won a rich haul of trophies and medals at Republic Day NCC Camp at New Delhi. The Directorate stood 2nd in the final standing. The Cadets were felicitated by the Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari on 02 February 2020 in a ceremonial function at Raj Bhavan, wherein a tea was hosted in honour of NCC Cadets who represented Maharashtra in the Republic Day events at New Delhi.

A total of 116 Cadets displayed their dedication and soldierly acumen to showcase Maharashtra State at National level during a series of competitions and events held at New Delhi in January 2020.

The Governor of Maharashtra in his congratulatory message brought out the significant role played by NCC in inculcating the value of integrity, patriotism, secularism and discipline in youth and wished them good fortune in their life. He praised the efforts of NCC Cadets in social awareness and development activities which has had a significant impact on citizens of Maharashtra as well as entire nation. He also congratulated all NCC officers and staff for guiding the cadets in heir remarkable achievements.
