Golden Globe Race - 2018 (Update 2)

Golden Globe Race 2018 Commander Abhilash Tomy of the Indian Navy is representing India in the Golden Globe Race 2018 (GGR) on an indigenously built sailing vessel ‘Thuriya’. The 30,000 nautical mile solo non-stop round the world race commenced on 01 July 2018. Commander Abhilash has crossed the first ‘Gate, at Rubicon Marina, Canary Islands and the next and last gate for the participants will be at Storm Bay, Hobart, Australia.
