Relief Medical Camp Conducted at Wayanad and Kavvayi by Indian Navy
A Medical Camp was conducted at Government Mappila school at Kavvayi on 18 August 2019 by Indian Navy in conjunction with disaster relief camp organised by Local Civil authorities of Payannur Municipality. Several persons who were affected during recent floods were examined and treated during the camp. Medical team comprising two Medical Officers from INHS Navjivani and INS Zamorin along with two Military Nursing Service Officers and four Medical Assistants conducted the Camp.
Meanwhile another relief medical camp has been set up in Chooralmala in Wayanad district on 18 August 2019. The medical team comprising two Medical Officers, two Medical assistants and four Military Nursing Service Officers from Southern Naval Command, Kochi has so far attended to numerous flood affected personnel. The team will continue to provide medical assistance in the area for a few more days.
