Inter School Painting And Quiz Competitions

Inter school Painting and Quiz Competitions were conducted by INS Valsura as part of Navy Week 2021 celebrations. The aim of these competitions were to provide a platform to students from various schools of Jamnagar to showcase their skills as well as to provide an opportunity for them understand more about the Indian Navy. The Inter school Painting Competition was an open competition, wherein 57 students from 11 schools across Jamnagar district participated under various categories. NVN School, Jamnagar was adjudged overall Winner and Airforce School, Jamnagar the Runners up. Preliminary rounds of Inter School Quiz Competition were conducted through online mode. Nine Schools participated in the preliminary rounds. Each school fielded a team comprising two students each from class IX to XII standard. Six schools were shortlisted for the Grand finale, which was conducted on 23 November 2021 at INS Valsura. Renowned Quiz Master Ajay Punia hosted the event. Sainik School Balachadi won the Rolling Trophy for overall winners in the Inter School Quiz Competition. Commodore Gautam Marwaha, Commanding Officer INS Valsura was the Chief Guest for the event and Prize winners were awarded with Trophies and medals.
