Workshop on Reconstruction Oncology and Lung Cancer at Naval Base, Kochi

A seminar on ‘Reconstruction Oncology and Lung Cancer’ was organised under the aegis of Indian Co-operative Network in Oncology (ICON) and Armed Forces Oncology Group on 25 March 2018 at Indian Naval Hospital Sanjivani, Kochi as part of ICON’s Continuation Medical Education (CME) programme. Surgeon Rear Admiral G Vishwanath, Command Medical Officer, Southern Naval Command inaugurated the seminar and chaired the first session. The CME was attended by eminent doctors including Dr Purvish M Parikh, former Head of the Department (Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai), Dr Ashish Gulia (Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai) and Brigadier Arvind Tyagi (Army Hospital Research and Referral, New Delhi). The seminar provided a platform for discussions on the latest in oncology diagnostics and management and reconstruction options in Orthopaedics, Head and Neck and Breast Oncology.
