WNC conducted the multiagency exercise Prasthan on 24 April 2024 to validate contingency plans for the oil and natural gas production facilities off #Mumbai. IAF, ICG, ONGC, DG Shipping and several other govtagencies participated in the exercise. Synchronised responses by various concerned stakeholders to contingencies such as oil spill, fire, medevac, bomb threat, and terrorist attack were undertaken during the exercise. Key highlights of the current edition were night operations and quick response drills.
