Vendor Mela at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai

A Vendor Mela was organised by Naval Dockyard, Mumbai on 25 April 2018 with the aim to enhance effectiveness of Make in India and encourage participation of Indian MSMEs. The event was synchronous with the ongoing efforts to make continual improvements in quality and pace of offloaded work as well as increase efficiency of processes. The Admiral Superintendent Dockyard and his team interacted with the vendors and briefed them on developments in e-Procurement, e-Tendering, GeM, financial processes and aspects of safety and security. In addition, representatives of prospective vendors were also invited to widen the vendor base and increase participation of the industry.
