VARUNA-18

Exercise VARUNA-18 between the IN and French Navy was conducted from 15 to 24 Mar 18 at off Goa. IN ships Mumbai and Trikand, IN submarine Kalvari, P8I aircraft and French Naval (FN) Ship Jean de Vienne along with FN submarine, Perle participated in the exercise. The ‘Sea Phase’ of VARUNA-18 was conducted from 20 to 24 Mar 18, off Goa. Phase II of VARUNA-18 was conducted at off Chennai involving IN ships Rana and Kirch and FN ships Surcouf and Dixmude from 03 to 08 Apr 18.
