Sea Phase of Exercise KAKADU-18 Concludes

The Sea Phase of Exercise KAKADU-18 concluded with a Photo-Ex at sea on 13 September 2018. Ships, submarine and aircraft undertook various surface, sub-surface and air operations during eight days of Sea Phase. The multilateral exercise hosted by the Royal Australian Navy saw participation of 23 ships including INS Sahyadri, 21 aircraft, one submarine and over 3,000 personnel from 27 nations. The closing ceremony of KAKADU-18 was held at Government House, Darwin on 13 September 2018. Her Honour, the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AM, Administrator of the Northern Territory, congratulated all participants for successful conduct of the exercise. INS Sahyadri received a special mention for its overall performance during the exercise and for winning the KAKADU-18 Cup.
