School Children visit to ships in harbour

As a part of ‘Navy Day 2015’ celebrations, for the first time in Mumbai, a visit to ships in harbour was organised for school children. Every year ships are open to visitors and few school children were taken to sea. To enhance the number of school children exposed to the Navy it was decided that school children will be visiting ships in harbour on exclusive days. On 16 and 23 November 2015 many schools of Mumbai are utilizing the opportunity to visit ships in harbour. INS Delhi and INS Tarkash were open to visits by schools.
