Rousing Welcome of Maharashtra National Cadet Corps Republic Day Contingent by Western Naval Command, Mumbai

The Maharashtra NCC contingent comprising 116 cadets secured Runner’s Up position among a total of 17 Directorates from across the country and won a rich haul of medals and trophies at the prestigious Prime Minister’s Rally in New Delhi.

The Western Naval Command organised a felicitation ceremony in honour of the victorious NCC Cadets at the Navy House in Mumbai on 03 February 2020. Vice Admiral Ajit Kumar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command, felicitated the young NCC Cadets and interacted with them. The Commander-in-Chief also awarded Command scholarships to three meritorious cadets for their all round performance during the academic year 2019-20. Brigadier R S Dhaila, Officiating Additional Director General, NCC Maharashtra, Officers & NCC staff were also in attendance alongwith officers of Western Naval Command.
