INSV Tarini is presently at Fremantle, Australia to replenish and service the equipment and gear, on completion of the first leg of it’s maiden voyage to circumnavigate the globe. As part of their stay in harbour the crew called on HE Kerry Sanderson AC, Governor of Western Australia, Councillor Ingrid Waltham, Deputy Lord Mayor of Fremantle and interacted with Australian of the Year 2017 Emeritus Professor Alan Mackay-Sim, a biomedical scientist specialising in treating spinal cord injuries. The crew is also scheduled to interact with the local populace, especially children, to promote ocean sailing and the spirit of adventure. The vessel is likely to depart Fremantle on 05 November 2017 for the second leg of her voyage.
