Naval Band Concert Held at INS Shivaji, Lonavala

As part of Navy Week activities 2018, a naval band concert was conducted on 15 December 2018 at INS Shivaji. The event witnessed by personnel of the establishment and residents of Lonavala, showcased the variety of naval band, talent of Sea Cadet Corps and trainees of INS Shivaji. The Sea Cadet Corps performed Hornpipe Dance and Cane Drill. The trainees performed the Continuity Drill, with the  entire sequence being executed without a single word of command. Subsequently, the Indian Navy Band, under the baton of DD Shekhar, Chief Musician, enthralled the audience by performing martial tunes, patriotic songs, clasical music, folk and regional songs popular with the local populace. Commanding Officer INS Shivaji felicitated the participants of Sea Cadet Corps and the Naval Band.
