INS Sarvekshak Completes Joint Hydrographic Survey of Grand Port

Indian Naval Ship Sarvekshak completed the Joint Hydrographic Survey of Grand Port and the ceremonial chart was handed over by the Commanding Officer to Hon’ble Purmanund Jhugroo, Minister of Housing and Lands in presence of High Commissioner of India, HE Shri Abhay Thakur. The Government of Mauritius awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to the ship for the task under taken during the deployment. Based on a request received from the Government of Mauritius, the ship handed over an operational Survey Motor Boat to the Ministry of Housing and Lands, Government of Mauritius for use by the Hydrographic Survey Unit for undertaking local surveys. The boat was received by Hon’ble Purmanund Jhugroo, Minister of Housing and Lands during a ceremony held onboard. A cultural programme and cake cutting ceremony to mark India’s 69th Republic Day was also organised onboard.
