FOC-in-C (South) Calls on the Governor and the Chief Minister of Kerala

Vice Admiral A K Chawla, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command called on Shri P Sathasivam, the Hon’ble Governor and Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala. The C-in-C apprised them of the ongoing OpMadad being undertaken by SNC in flood relief and rescue operations. He also discussed areas of mutual concern including coastal security. The Hon’ble Governor and Chief Minister commended the contribution made by the Indian Navy in the ongoing relief and rescue operations. The C-in-C also visited the KSDM State Coordination Centre at the secretariat to review the situation.
