Flood relief by Indian Navy Teams from INS Kattabomman

Indian Navy flood relief teams from INS Kattabomman rendered assistance to stranded people in submerged locations in Tuticorin. More than 100 personnel were shifted to safer locations by the teams in coordination with State Administration. Responding to the distressing situation, INS Kattabomman coordinated the rescue operations along with district administration. ALH of INS Parandu evacuated 17 stranded personnel including three pregnant women to a safer location in Tirunelveli City.
