DRDO Scientists Visit Naval Base, Kochi
A team of 44 Defence Research and Development Organisation scientists visited the Southern Naval Command, Kochi from 05 to 15 February 2018 as part of their acquaintance tour with the Indian Navy. The team visited various units, including INS Dronacharya, Signal School, Navigation and Direction School, Naval Ship Repair Yard, Naval Institute of Educational and Training Technology, Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology, School for Naval Airmen, 342 Squadron, Naval Aeronautical Quality Assurance Service and Centre of Excellence for Leadership and Behavioural Studies. In addition, the team visited INS Sutlej and was briefed on various tasks undertaken by the ship and given an insight of life onboard.
