Coastal Security Exercise ‘Sagar Kavach’

Coastal security exercise ‘Sagar Kavach’ was conducted off Gujarat and Daman & Diu from 04 – 05 Oct 17. Three IN and eight ICG ships participated in the exercise. Additionally, air assets from IN and ICG also participated in the exercise. Considerable learning value accrued from multi-agency cooperation and coordination, which include Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, State Maritime Police, Customs, Port Trust, Fisheries Department, etc.
