Ambassador of Vietnam Visits Kochi

H.E. Ton Sinh Thanh, Ambassador of Vietnam to India accompanied by Vietnam delegation visited Kochi from 22 to 24 November 2016. The Ambassador had discussion with Vice Admiral AR Karve, AVSM, Flag Officer Commanding- in- Chief, Southern Naval Command and wherein he was given an overview of training activities at Southern Naval Command. During the visit, the Ambassador interacted with the officer trainees of Vietnam People’s Navy undergoing training at SNC training facilities. The Ambassador also interacted with Business Associates in Kerala during the current visit.

While at Kochi, the programme of Vietnam delegations included visit to India's first Indigenous Aircraft Carrier at Cochin Shipyard Limited, Indian Naval Maritime Museum, places of cultural interests in Fort Kochi and Kerala Folklore Museum.
