ADG NCC Visits Naval NCC Unit at Ernakulam

Rear Admiral Biswajit Dasgupta, AVSM, YSM ,VSM, Additional Director General(ADG) (A), Directorate General NCC, New Delhi visited 7(Kerala) Naval Unit NCC, Ernakulam on 27 April 2018. The Admiral was on his maiden visit to Ernakulam after taking over as ADG last month.

The Flag Officer inspected the unit and Captain Sanjay Jayaswal Commanding Officer gave him a brief presentation about the history and present day activities of the unit. While addressing the cadets and the staff, Admiral stressed the role of NCC in nation building and appreciated the campaigns conducted by NCC in eradicating various social evils such as drug abuse, traffic violations, religious disharmony etc.

The Admiral was accompanied by Commodore Anand Balakrishnan, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters, Ernakulam.
