Academy Dinner Night and Award of Trophies

In the run up to the passing out parade ceremony scheduled on 26 November 2016 at Indian Naval Academy (INA), all cadets participated in the Academy Dinner Night at Katari Cadets’ Mess named after Vice Admiral Ram Das Katari – The first Chief of Naval Staff of the Indian Navy.

Cadets participated in the Academy Dinner Night at Katari Cadets’ Mess as a prelude to POP scheduled 26 November 2016

 Vice Admiral SV Bhokare, Commandant, INA handed over the most coveted CNS trophy for champion squadron to Cheetah squadron at the end of the ceremony. He also gave away the awards for individual excellence to the cadets of passing out courses during the event.

Flotilla Cadet Adjutant Anmol Bhatia from INAC (BTech) course was awarded the CNS trophy for best in service subjects. Academy Cadet Adjutant Swapnil Chauhan was awarded FOC-in-C South trophy for standing first in Overall Order of Merit in INAC (MSc). FOC-in-C West trophy for most promising NOC (Extended) cadet was awarded to Cadet Vinay R. FOC-in-C East trophy for most promising NOC (Regular) Cadet was awarded to Cadet Aanchal Sharma. Cadet Edward Saimoni Mwaipaja from Tanzania bagged the FOC-in-C South trophy for best international Cadet and Cadet Kishu was awarded the DGICG trophy for best Assistant Commandant.
