17th IN – FN Staff Talks

17th Indian Navy – French Navy Staff Talks was held from 06 - 07 Feb 2024 at NewDelhi. The meeting was co-chaired by Rear Admiral Nirbhay Bapna, ACNS (FCI) and Rear Admiral Jean Marc Durandau, Director International Engagements, FN. The Talks witnessed active participation from both sides. Major discussions included operations, training, SME exchanges etc. Both sides also acknowledged the growing cooperation between two Navies and agreed to enhance collaboration and interoperability in maritime domain. On the sidelines of Staff Talks, Rear Admiral Jean Marc Durandau called on Vice Admiral Tarun Sobti, DCNS on 07 Feb 2024 and underscored the high level of synergy and interoperability between IN and FN. The Admiral also visited IFC IOR on 06 Feb 2024.
