‘Workshop on Divisional System’ Held at Visakhapatnam

A ‘Workshop on Divisional System’ was conducted at Meghadri Auditorium, Visakhapatnam on 23 January 2020. Over 400 naval personnel including Commanding Officers, Heads of Units, Officers and Sailors attended the workshop, in which various topics such as ‘Reinforcing Fundamentals of Divisional System’, ‘Highlights of Works undertaken to enhance Quality of Life’, ‘Guidelines for Effective Functioning of Divisional System’ and ‘Awareness of Dangers of Social Media’ were covered.    Chief of Staff, Eastern Naval Command delivered the opening address wherein he emphasized the importance of Divisional System in the Indian Navy and drew a parallel between a joint family in the Indian society with the Divisional System. The Naval Divisional System contributes towards the efficiency of the Navy and benefits the Naval Community.
