Adventure Cum Training Camp Conducted by INS Vishwakarma

A five-day Adventure cum Trekking camp was conducted for Hull Artificer Apprentices and Naval Architect Officers at Taatipudi Reservoir by INS Vishwakarma. During the camp, various inter-divisional activities including tent pitching, route march, 16 kms cross country, night navigation, cultural events and games were conducted to develop esprit-de-corps, camaraderie, leadership qualities, physical endurance and mental strength amongst the trainee sailors and officers. In addition, the participants interacted with the school children of Taatipudi to apprise them about the Indian Navy and encouraged them to join the Indian Armed Forces. The camp culminated with a camp fire, wherein Commanding Officer, INS Vishwakarma, presented individual and divisional prizes to the winners.
