Inaugural Edition of IN-BN CORPAT Concludes at Visakhapatnam

Bangladesh Naval Ships Abu Bakr and Dhaleshwari are on a visit to Visakhapatnam as part of the maiden Indian Navy- Bangladesh Navy Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT). The inaugural edition of CORPAT concluded at Visakhapatnam on 03 July 2018. IN Ships Satpura, Kadmatt and Bangladesh Naval Ships Abu Bakr and Dhaleshwari participated in the IN-BN CORPAT, which was inaugurated at Chittagong on 27 June 2018. As part of the concluding session, a series of activities were conducted at Visakhapatnam, which included cross visits between participating units from both navies, training visit for BN personnel to INS Dega and Ship Handling and Damage Control Simulators. In addition, a friendly basketball match was also conducted for the visiting crew.
