SNC Conducts Motorcycle Expedition at Leh &  Ladakh

A team of eight officers including two MNS officers and two sailors from Southern Naval Command are on a motorcycle expedition to Ladakh. The expedition has covered over 1,500 kms through some highest motorable passes, such as Fotu La, Hambuting La, Tanglang La, Chang La and Khardung La.  The team performed yoga at Hambuting La and Tso Moriri and interacted with Army and ITBP personnel. During the expedition, the team visited Changthang wildlife sanctuary, Tso Moriri wetland water reserve and Tso Kar, Hemis and Thiksey monastery, museum and General Zorawar fort. The expedition will culminate on 18 June 2018 with river rafting in Zanskar followed by paying tribute at Hall of Fame in Leh.
