Cycle Expedition

New Delhi to Jaisalmer and Back. A 12 member naval cycling expedition from Delhi to Jaisalmer and back was flagged off by RAdm P Ashokan, ACPS, at 0800 hrs on 22 Feb 15. The aim of the expedition is to spread the message of 'Swach Bharat Abhiyan' in the villages and towns at Haryana and Rajasthan, along the route. In addition, the team would also sensitise the populace about Indian Navy and its recruitment avenues. A total distance of 1700 km would be covered by the participants over 12 days. The team will transit through Loharu, Ratangarh, Bikaner and Phalodi on its route to Jaisalmer.
