Multi Component Expedition involving Sailing, Motor Cycle Expedition and Cycling from Visakhapatnam to Delhi

The Eastern Naval Command Multi-component Expedition was conducted in three phases. The 1st phase was ocean sailing, 2nd phase was motorcycle riding and the 3rd phase was cycling. Seven personnel participated in this rally which was flagged off by Chief of Staff, HQ ENC on 04 Sep 15. The aim of the expedition was to spread awareness amongst the local populace about the Golden Jubilee celebration of the 1965 war. The team marked the wreck of PNS Ghazi off Vishakapatnam in Phase I. The participants covered a distance of 2000km from Vizag to Delhi meeting a large number of war veterans enroute.
