6th Indian Navy – United Arab Emirates Navy Staff Talks Held at New Delhi from 18 – 20 september 2017

The 6th Indian Navy – UAE Navy Staff Talks was held at New Delhi from 18 to 20 September 2017. Cmde Manish Sharma, PDFC co-chaired the Staff Talks along with Col Saeed Salim Mohamed Rashid Al Qaydi, Deputy Director Operations Centre from the United Arab Emirates Navy.

6th Indian Navy – United Arab Emirates Navy Staff Talks Meeting in Progress

The salient discussed during the Staff Talks included Operational Interactions, Training Interactions, Cooperation in Hydrography, Maritime Domain Awareness, participation in Admiral’s Cup etc. The United Arab Emirates Navy delegation also called on Rear Admiral Dhiren Vig, Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff on 19 September 2017 and discussed issues of mutual interest.
