Visit of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander in Chief Defence Services of the Republic of Union of Myanmar to India

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander-in-Chief Defence Services of the Republic of Union of Myanmar, is currently on a visit to India from 07 to 14 July 2017. The visit is intended to consolidate and enhance the bilateral defence relations between India and Myanmar. During the visit, the Senior General visited several Defence establishments including the Eastern Naval Command at Visakhapatnam. The Senior General also called on Admiral Sunil Lanba PVSM, AVSM, ADC, Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Chief of Naval Staff on 14 July 2017 and discussed issues of mutual interests.
