Inauguration of Ashray:- The Ashray (DIL Quarter) consisting 04 rooms were inaugurated by Mrs Payal Soni, President NWWA (E/R) on 12 Jan 15.

Disaster Management Exercises:-    Regularly Disaster Management exercises were conducted during the year 2015 for improvement in prompt and quick response during any disaster. 

Special Naval Community Day Celebration:- A seminar was conducted on “ Marital Harmony” as a part of special Naval community day celebration at Community hall Nausena Baugh, Visakhapatnam on 20 Feb 15 and 27 Oct 15  for better understanding between Naval Community. Surg Rear Admiral UK Sharma, Command Medical Officer, Headquarters, Eastern Naval Command was the chief guest.

Health Baby Show:- The healthy baby show was conducted on 29 Apr 15 by NWWA (E/R) and INHS Kalyani at Samudrika to educate and promote the health related issue in our Naval Community. The screening of children conducted at INHS Kalyani by the board members comprising of Psychologist and Paediatrician on 23 Apr 15 and 24 Apr 15.

Green Visakha Tree Plantation:- As part of green Visakha drive tree plantation was done by the ships company on 29 Apr 15 and 06 Jun 15.

CME on Diabetes - Current Concept and Management:- A CME on “Diabetes: Current Concepts and Management” was conducted at Meghadri Auditorium, Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam on 08-09 May 15 which was well attended by Super Specialists and Medical Officers from all the three services including civilian doctors from Visakhapatnam. 

Workshop on Stress Management:- A workshop on Stress Management was organised at Maritime Warfare Centre Auditorium on 19 Jun 15 and 24 Jul 15. The workshop was chaired by Chief of Staff, Headquarters, Eastern Naval Command and Surg Commodore SK Sinha, Commanding Officer, INHS Kalyani respectively.

International Yoga Day Celebration:- The first International Yoga day was celebrated on 21 Jun 15 and attended by all officers and sailors of INHS Kalyani. In this regard a health walk was conducted from INHS Kalyani main gate to Dolphin Hill view point-1 and the flag off was done by Surg Rear Admiral UK Sharma, Command Medical Officer, Eastern Naval Command.

Hindi Pakhwada 2015:- Hindi Pakhwada 2015 was celebrated from 01 Sep 15 to 14 Sep 15. Various activities like poem telling, debate, poster painting etc were conducted and prizes were given to the winners of each event.

International Coastal Cleanup Day:- The international coastal cleanup day was conducted on 19 Sep 15 at RK Beach Visakhapatnam.

Inauguration of MRI building at INHS Kalyani:- The foundation was laid down by Surg Commodore SK Sinha, Commanding Officer, INHS Kalyani for newly sanctioned MRI centre for INHS Kalyani on 01 Oct 15.

Medical Camp at Atchhutapuram:- A free medical camp was organised at IVA Pathshala Atchhutapuram by INHS Kalyani under the aegis of Eastern Naval Command and the Navy Wives’ Welfare Association (Eastern Region) on 30 Oct 15 to alleviate health problems of the impoverished weavers and provide spectacles to the needy.
