Health Camp Organised at Goa Naval Area
417 children from Naval Kindergarten and Balwadi of Goa Naval Area were screened at the medical camp for school children aged below five years from 25 to 28 February 2020. The camp was organised by Station Health Organisation (Goa) in association with INHS Jeevanti to identify medical, nutritional and hygiene issues of the children. Awareness programme in the form of lectures and training sessions on personal hygiene, dental care and dietary habits were conducted to address the issues observed during the medical check up. During the camp, lectures were also conducted for parents and teachers.
