Open Wind Surfing Championship Conducted at Goa

The 4th Navy Open Windsurfing championship 2020 was held at the Indian Naval Watermanship Training Centre (INWTC), Chicalim, Goa under the aegis of Indian Naval Sailing Association and Yachting Association of India from 25 to 28 January 2020. 12 races were conducted in 8 categories namely RS X, Race Board, Open, Bic Nova Open, Bic Nova masters, Race Board Youth and Race Board Junior. A total of 60 yachtsmen representing Navy Sailing Node Bhopal, Goa Yachting Association, Orissa Yachting Association, INWTC Kochi, EME Hyderabad and NCC Cadets from Jammu, Bangalore, Goa and Orissa participated. The Best Inspired Yachting Trophy was awarded to Brigadier PC Roy and the Best Young Yachting Trophy was won by Ms Nyneisha Vora. Commanding Officer INS Hansa, Chief Guest for Closing Ceremony, awarded prizes to the winners.
