Maha-Navy Connect 2020 – Day 5

On the fifth day of Maha-Navy Connect 2020 expedition, the running team completed the arduous Ultra Relay, covering 275 kms to reach Sindhudurg. The Yachting team sailed out from Vijaydurg and reached Sindhudurg as well, whilst the Cycling team reached Oros covering around 129 kms. At Vijaydurg the cycling and Yachting teams interacted with the local populace and civil authorities about coastal security, prospects in the Indian Navy and the Maritime Heritage. The teams also conducted Swachhata Abhiyan at Kalavsnijya Mahavidyalaya, New English School, Phandaghat, Shankar Mahadev Vidyalaya, Kumbhavde and New English School, Oros.
