Beach Cleanup Activity by Tamilnadu and Panducherry Naval Area

Headquarters, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Naval Area organised a Beach Cleanship drive on the beach front North of Cooum River on 07 December 2019.  Over 300 naval personnel and their families participated in the event and collected a large amount of waste material comprising plastic and other non-biodegradable items. In addition, 30 children participated in a 'Drawing Competition' for children on the theme 'Plastic se Raksha - Swachhta hi Suraksha'.
