38th Maritime Orientation Course Held at INS Chilka, Odisha

60 CISF personnel, including 15 Sub Inspectors, one Assistant Sub Inspector and 44 other ranks, successfully completed the 38th Maritime Orientation Course at INS Chilka from 21 October to 01 November 2019. During the Course, the personnel were familiarised with naval subjects like rules of the road, navigational equipment, chart work, boat work, survival at sea, rope work, rigging, boarding operations and anchor work. As part of physical conditioning, regular sports activities were organised between CISF personnel and INS Chilka Staff. Sub Inspector Manoj Sharma stood first in the course. Commanding Officer, INS Chilka presented certificates to meritorious personnel on completion of course.
