SAR Operations Near Devipatnam in Godavari River

A Naval Dornier along with Indian Navy diving team, inflatable Gemini boat and associated equipment was deployed on 15 September 2019 to join SAR operations for missing tourists from the capsized boat near Devipatnam in Godavari River. In addition, two naval helicopters were also deployed from INS Dega with first light on 16 September 2019 to join the search operation along with NDRF, SDRF and civil authorities.
