MESC Passing Out Parade Held at INS Shivaji

25 officers including five from Indian Navy, four from Indian Coast Guard and 16 from Friendly Foreign Navies namely, Sri Lanka and Myanmar graduated on completion of Marine Engineering Specialisation Course (MESC) at a Passing out Parade held at INS Shivaji on 28 June 2019. The parade was reviewed by Chief of Staff, Southern Naval Command. The 'Hammer' for 'Best all-round Officer' was awarded to Lt Milind. Lt Milind and A/C Thangavadivel M stood first and second respectively in overall order of Academic Merit. The DGCG rolling trophy for 'Best all round Coast Guard Officer' was awarded to A/C Thangavadivel M. Vice Admiral Daya Shankar rolling trophy for 'Best Sportsman' was awarded to A/C Renu Kumar and the 'Best Project Syndicate' award was given to the project on ‘Effect of Visual Colour Impact on Performance of Engineering Department Personnel Onboard Naval Ships’. FOC-in-C South rolling trophy for 'Best International Officer' was awarded to Lt RA Singalaxana from Sri Lanka Navy, while the Commodore’s Rolling trophy for 'Positive Living' was awarded to Lt SS Dilruksha.
