NBCD Seminar Conducted at INS Shivaji

As part of Platinum Jubilee celebrations of INS Shivaji, a two day NBCD Seminar themed ‘NBCD Preparedness - Course to Steer’ was conducted by NBCD School from 20 to 21 May 2019. Chief Staff Officer (Training), SNC was the Chief Guest for the Seminar. Speakers from Indian Navy, Indian Army, BARC and industry in the field of Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear, Damage Control and Fire Fighting presented insightful papers, which were moderated by senior naval officers who also shared their perspectives on the subject. In addition to the Seminar, a NBCD exhibition, displaying latest equipment in the field of NBC Protection, Detection, Damage Control and Fire Fighting developed by DRDO and Indian Industry was conducted on 20 May 2019. The exhibition was inaugurated by ACNS (SR). Over 20 OEMs participated in the exhibition, which was open to invitees and all personnel.
