Joint Service Training Institute Conducts Training on Catering Technology at INS Hamla

In keeping with recommendation of Chairman Chief of Staff Committee for creation of Joint Service Training Institute, the first batch of 49 Indian Army personnel are presently undergoing four week Army Chef Special course along with the second batch of 65 Indian Air Force trainees at INS Hamla. The first batch of 68 IAF personnel completed 16 weeks Chef and Steward 'Q' course training at Hamla in January 2019. This marks an important landmark in the Indian Navy’s endeavour to facilitate joint training amongst the three Services that would lead to optimisation of human and material resources.
