Passing Out Parade of Merged Artificer Apprentice Course XXVII Held at INS Shivaji

The XVII Merged Artificer Apprentice Course, comprising 125 trainees from the Indian Navy, 17 from Indian Coast Guard and four from friendly foreign navies, graduated from INS Shivaji at a Passing Out Parade held on 09 February 2019. The parade reviewed, Commanding Officer INS Shivaji, marks the completion of 117 weeks of professional ab-initio training. Vipin Kumar U/NVK stood First in the overall Order of Merit and was awarded the FOC-in-C South Gold Medal. He was also adjudged Best Sportsman of the course and was awarded Commodore’s Rolling Trophy and a Book Prize. Anish Jaswan Kumar, Petty Officer from the Fiji Navy was adjudged First in the Order of Merit amongst the international trainees.
