Indian Navy Band Symphonic Concert Held at INS Chilka, Odisha

As part of Navy Week activities, the Navy Band of INS Chilka performed at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubneshwar on 15 December 2018. The symphonic band concert was attended by a number of dignitaries, naval veterans, faculty members and students. The band performed a wide repertoire of patriotic songs along with western classical and Indian pop music. The band also played Radetzky March, a military marching tune, and the concert culminated with patriotic song ‘Jai Bharti’ followed by the National Anthem. The large crowd present at the venue greatly appreciated the performance and gave thunderous ovation to the band. Mr Asit Tripathy IAS, Development Commissioner-cum-Addl Chief Secretary (Home), Govt of Odisha was the Chief Guest at the concert.
