Indian Naval Ships Open to Visitors as a Part of Navy Week 2018

As part of Navy Week 2018 activities, INS Sumedha and Tihayu were open for visit by the public at Paradip on 24 November 2018. Over 2,200 personnel visited the ships and were given a guided tour of the ships and briefed about the weapons and equipment fitted onboard. The ships will remain 'Open to School Children and Organised Groups' on 25 November 2018 from 1000 to 1500 hrs. School children in uniform with School ID card and accompanied by School Staff will be permitted to visit the ships. Visitors are requested to assemble at Football Grounds of Gopabandu Stadium, Paradip. Visitors are advised not to carry cameras, hand bags, any electronic storage devices including mobile phones with camera for security reasons.
