Intra DOT Cross Country Championship - INS Shivaji

The Annual Intra Divisional Organisation (Trainees) Cross Country Championship was conducted at INS Shivaji on 17 Nov 18. The aim of the Championship was to encourage wide participation in outdoor sports and inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship amongst the trainees. All the teams, namely Korigad, Raigad, Pratapgad, Sudhagad, Hemgad and Lohagad of the Rainbow Divisions took part in this Championship. A total of 765 trainees ran the Cross Country covering a distance of approx.12 Km. Korigad Division emerged as the overall Champions, while Sudhagad Division bagged the Runners-up Trophy. Ankit Kumar, MAAC 28 from Sudhagad Division secured First Position with a timing of 40.52 min and won the Gold Medal in Cross Country Championship. Raj Kumar, MAAC 29 from Hemgad Division bagged the Silver Medal, while Kuldeep Singh, MAAC 28 from Raigad Division bagged the Bronze Medal. Captain AK Chakrabarti, Officer in-Charge, CMET presented the trophies and medals to the winners.
