Commander D Sunil Kumar of INS Vishwakarma Qualifies as Super Randonneur

Commander D Sunil Kumar of the Indian Navy successfully completed four long distance endurance cycling expeditions called BRMs (Brevet des Randonneurs Mondiaux), organised worldwide by Audax Club Parisien. The officer accomplished four brevets category in the specified time limit in the year 2017-18 with 200 and 300 kms in 12 h 30 m and 16 h 47 m respectively at Visakhapatnam, 400 kms in 23 h 30 m at Vijayawada and 600 kms in 38 h 44 m at Coimbatore. On completion of the series of four BRMs in a calendar year, the officer has earned the title of Super Randonneur for the year 2017-18. In addition, the officer will be awarded Brevet Medals for all the four accomplishments (200, 300, 400 and 600kms) as well as the Super Randonneur title by the Audax Club Parisien.
