INS Tarangini Leaves Haifa, Israel

INS Tarangini visited Haifa, Israel as part of Lokayan-18, a seven-month long voyage with the theme ‘Sailing through Different Oceans and Uniting Nations’. She was received by DA Tel Aviv and officials from the Israeli Defence Forces on arrival. As part of harbour activities, 15 cadets from the Israeli Naval Academy visited the ship and were briefed about the Sail Training onboard, given a short introduction on the #IndianNavy and taken for a walk around of the ship. Visit to Jerusalem and Dead Sea were organised for the crew. HE Mr Pavan Kapoor, the Indian Ambassador to Israel along with Embassy staff and members of the local Indian community visited the ship. The ship will transit through the Suez Canal and Red Sea enroute to her next port of call, Djibouti.
