3rd Indian Navy-Russian Navy Staff Talks

The 3rd Indian Navy-Russian Navy (IN-RuFN) Staff Talks were held at St Petersburg, Russia from 26 to 28 September 2018. The Indian Navy  delegation was led by Rear Admiral Atul Anand, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Foreign Cooperation and Intelligence) and the Russian Navy delegation was led by Rear Admiral Vladimir Zhemskov, Deputy Chief of RuFN. A number of naval subjects and areas of mutual cooperation were discussed between the two sides and action plan for implementation was finalised. Bilateral interaction on maritime issues including operations, training and technical cooperation  were held during the Staff Talks, which culminated with signing of a formal protocol between the two sides.
