Commander Ashutosh Pednekar of the Indian Navy Wins Gold Medal at the 16th World Racketlon Championship held at Zurich, Switzerland

Commander Ashutosh Pednekar of the Indian Navy won a Gold medal in the Mens over 45 yrs age category at the 16th World Racketlon Championship held at Zurich, Switzerland from 22 to 26 August 2018. He also won a Bronze medal in the Mens Advanced Open age category. Over 400 players belonging to 28 countries participated in the Championship. Racketlon is a combination of individual racket-sport disciplines namely table tennis, badminton, squash and tennis. In a game of upto 21 points in all of the four sports, the winner is the one who collects the most points in all four disciplines.
